Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Sticker Drop ("the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use the Sticker Drop Android app. The operator is Samyak Singh. Contact: streamerx047@gmail.com.

Sticker Drop is a sticker app. You browse original stickers, add sticker packs to WhatsApp, or send a single sticker to a chat or another app.

1. The short version

There is no account and no sign-up.
We do not run our own servers and we do not receive your personal information.
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some device data to show and measure those ads, as described in section 3.
Stickers are sent to WhatsApp or another app only when you choose to send or add them.

2. Information that stays on your device

App preferences. The app remembers small settings on your phone, such as whether you have already seen the first-launch tour.
Temporary sticker files. When you send a single sticker, the app makes a copy (a GIF or PNG) in its private cache folder so the app you chose can read it. These files stay on your phone and are removed when the cache is cleared or the app is uninstalled.
Installed-app checks. To show the share buttons, the app checks on your phone whether WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Instagram or X is installed and shows that app's icon. This check happens only on the device and is not sent to us.
Sticker pack status. The app asks WhatsApp, on your phone, whether a pack has already been added, so it can show "Pack added".

We do not collect your contacts, messages, photos, location, or files.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Sticker Drop is free and supported by ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. To show ads, measure them, and prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:

Your device's advertising ID
IP address (which can indicate an approximate location)
Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language and app version
Ad interactions, such as ads shown and ads tapped
Diagnostic information, such as performance and crash data related to ads

This data is collected by Google, not by us. Google's use of it is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.

Consent. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from the menu → Privacy settings.

Your controls. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your device).

4. WhatsApp and other apps

Adding a pack. When you tap "Add whole pack to WhatsApp", WhatsApp reads the pack's sticker images and names from the app on your phone. WhatsApp's own privacy policy then applies.
Sending a single sticker. When you choose WhatsApp, Instagram, X or "More", the app hands the sticker file to that app. What you send there is covered by that app's privacy policy.
Links. "Rate us", "More apps" and similar links open Google Play or a web page. Those services have their own policies.

Sticker Drop is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram or X.

5. Permissions

Internet and network state – to load ads.
Advertising ID – added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK so ads can be shown and measured.

The app does not ask for access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, photos or files.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with anyone, apart from the data Google AdMob collects directly through the ads SDK (section 3). We may disclose information if required by law.

7. Data retention and deletion

Sticker Drop has no account, so there is no account to delete.
Data on your device is removed when you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app.
Data collected by Google for ads is kept and deleted under Google's policies. You can reset your advertising ID at any time (section 3).

8. Security

The app does not send personal information to us. The Google Mobile Ads SDK sends ad data to Google over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

9. Children

Sticker Drop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, email us and we will help.

10. International processing

Google may process ad data on servers outside your country, including the United States.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and material changes will be posted on this page.
