A bit about me
Hey, I'm Samyak 👋 I'm an Android engineer in Bangalore, currently building the Android app at Playo.
I've been shipping my own Android apps since 2021. What started as weekend side projects grew into 9 apps on Google Play with more than 250,000 downloads, from sticker packs and wallpapers to a break-reminder alarm that only stops when you walk.
I work mostly in Kotlin and Flutter, with a strong base in data structures and algorithms. Right now I'm going deeper into Kotlin Multiplatform. I care about apps that are fast, reliable and simple, and about the small details that make them feel good.
Away from the keyboard you'll find me on a badminton or table tennis court, playing story-driven PC games, or reading about the markets.
